We created Print My Journey because we specialize in selling custom travel printing. Print My Journey also represents who we are and our trademark. The website is owned by Vistart Enterprises.

We specialize in creating, building, and printing travel prints. We also offer custom puzzle and wall art printing through our partners.

I started on ETSY a few years ago selling my photography as home decor. After 1 year on ETSY, I wanted more freedom and my own brand. So I created VistArt Enterprises and later Print My Journey to create a brand specializing in travel prints.

We offer personalized service to our customers. We take the time to work with each client to create the closest possible impression of what the client is looking for. In addition, our equipment is of high quality and comes from North American and European suppliers.

Travel Prints Questions

Orders and customization

First, you need to choose your print model. Several choices are available depending on the theme you are looking for. Then, on the product page, you can choose your size, the type of paper and frame if you wish. Afterwards, a "Customization" button will appear. Click on it to upload your photo and get a preview (an example) of the final result. Finally, fill in the boxes as needed with the written information that will be displayed on the print.

Any type of photo is acceptable. However, I recommend choosing a photo that is the same or similar size as the chosen print. The larger the print, the more detailed and high-resolution the photo should be. If you are unsure, please contact us HERE.

Yes. All our prints are customizable. On the product page, you can fill in each box associated with a print area with the text you want. Pay attention to your spelling.

Absolutely. We have travel prints, history prints, location prints, and even fully customizable posters. For the latter option, please contact us with a description of your project.

Absolutely. We will send you a print preview by email.

Print quality and materials

Fine Art paper : Displays true colors, without reflection. Perfect for framing and for a matte finish.

Gloss Paper: For a high-gloss finish. Increases color saturation and contrast due to the varnish used. Some colors may appear darker and others lighter.

Satin Paper: Finish more like a photograph. Halfway between Matte and Gloss.

There is no definitive answer. There is no minimum resolution for smaller prints like 12x18" or 16x24". However, we have built in minimums for larger prints. While we can print a 2 MP photo for you, it is recommended to have a higher resolution to ensure a pixel-free finish.

As much as possible, yes. However, you must understand that all display devices display colors differently and it is impossible to accurately determine the final print colors unless all screens are calibrated the same. But don't panic, I guarantee you will still be satisfied with the final rendering.

No. Framing is an option only. If you want to have it framed at a more affordable price, I recommend choosing a frame in-store or choosing your frame near you.

The prints are made from high-quality paper from Germany, Canada, or the USA. Therefore, they can theoretically remain beautiful for years. However, how you handle them, clean them, and where you display them will determine the print's lifespan.

We have selected sizes that are considered industry standard. However, we can offer sizes from 8 x 8" up to 96 x 58".

Products Questions

All our products are produced in Montreal. The materials used for production come from North America or Europe.

We specialize in custom travel prints. Several designs are available. We also sell canvas prints, travel wall clocks, and acrylic snowboards, all for home decor.

All our products are handmade 1 by 1 in Montreal.

For our Travel Prints we use Pigment-based inkjet with archival inks, Color accuracy Median < 1.19 dE2000, 95% of colors < 2.77 dE200010. We use Base matte, neutral white paper and Base Resin-coated (RC) photo paper. For canvas we use a Pigment-based Inkjet with archival ink + 410g/m2 Poly-Cotton Acid Free Canvas,  65% cotton/35% polyester. For acrylic we use Digital grade acrylic print 1/8 inches with a Black mount frame.

We sell standard canvases with a 1.5-inch or 3/4-inch thick wooden frame, depending on your choice. For finishing, we offer unvarnished, matte varnish, and semi-gloss varnish. Each canvas is handmade here in Canada. The photos used come from different independent artists.

Travel Wall Clocks are acrylic clocks printed with a travel photograph, just like those found in hotels. They are handmade here in Canada. You can easily create your own collection at home.

Our acrylic snowboards are wall art made from mountain panoramas. Each photo is high quality, often 50 megapixels or more to avoid low resolution. The board is handmade in Montreal.

There is always a slight variation between the colors seen on your screen and the actual colors of the print because your screen is probably not calibrated. In addition, the color will also vary due to the finish applied to your print.

Yes. Additionally, depending on the type of print, we can offer several hanging methods. 

For each product, we have selected sizes that can be considered standard. However, for canvases, since our products are handmade, we can build them to a custom size. To do so, please contact us with a description of your project. Click HERE to fill out the form.

Canvas:

  • NOT for outdoor usage
  • Keep away from moisture & humidity
  • Do NOT use any damp cloth or water and other liquid for cleaning.
  • Recommanded care: light usage of feather duster

Acrylic:

  • Always use a very soft microfiber or damp cloth.
  • Does not require a special cleaner and any non-ammonia cleaner such as Windex can be used

Shipping & Delivery

We consider "worldwide" to mean anything outside of Canada and the continental United States. Yes, we ship worldwide, but only rolled products such as posters and rolled canvases. Please refer to our shipping page for more information. Learn More HERE

Unfortunately, we have no control over the shipping companies. However, on average, a delivery time of 5 to 10 days for Canada and Continental USA. For worldwide delivery, expect up to 1 month and possibly more. I recommend you contact your delivery company for more details since we use several companies. The time of year, holidays or other reasons can also affect the delivery time.

Shipping is free for Canada and Continental USA. Worldwide shipping is subject to a fee that can only be assessed after we receive your project and address. Once your order is complete, we will send you an email confirming that your package has been shipped with the tracking number included.

Contact us immediately. We have a 30-day return policy for any issues not directly related to the buyer. This includes defects, assembly problems, or damage due to transit to the delivery address. These procedures can be complex to ensure that these damages were not caused by the buyer. Please read our return policy page HERE.

Yes. But I advise you to do it as soon as possible and it is not certain that this will be possible if your package is already finished.

Yes. We only have access to basic information associated with your identity, such as your name, address, and email. You can cancel your purchase until production begins. After that, we will charge you for the materials used. See our terms and conditions HERE

Yes. Our system will send you an email confirming your transaction. If you would like a more detailed invoice, please contact us and we will email you an invoice.

Returns & Exchanges

We have a 30 days return policy from the day the print is received for any issues that are not within the control of Print My Journey, VistArt Enterprises or one of its production partners like Pictorem. To be eligible for a return, you must receive a return authorization from the manufacturer. If you wish an exchange for any other reason that is not part of our return policy, you must assume all costs related to this return plus the costs associated with the modification, construction or exchange of your product.
